Your hosts, Barbara and Murray Matthews, share a passion for the flora and fauna of New Zealand. Their love of gardening is evident through their beautiful Condell Gardens, with its specialized native section together with exotic flowering plants, and with the stately 100-year- old homestead nestled at its centre.

Accommodation
A spacious, quiet and comfortable queen-bed room with en-suite bathroom awaits your visit, with a separate doorway into the native garden and plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax in.

Included is a full continental breakfast of cereals including home-made muesli, muffins, toast, yoghurt, juice, tea/coffee and fresh fruit.

Prices
Double: $150 for one night, with multi-night discount (two consecutive nights $250)
Single: $125 for one night (two nights $230)

Meals
Although there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, you might prefer to relax at home after a day of travelling.

By prior arrangement, you are invited to enjoy a two-course meal with wine, shared with your hosts, for $30 per person.
Local Information
Christchurch is a unique place. Having undergone devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011, it is being rebuilt as a showcase city where the resilience and resourcefulness of the local population is very evident. The horror of the power of destructive forces is still very evident, but so too is our ability to bounce back, rebuild and face the future in strength.
Attractions in the city include:
